Now, I don’t know how many venues would allow that to happen, but they did and my god did it pay off! We had the most beautiful wedding! The rooftop was perfect - I know they are a night club, but they made a damn good wedding venue!!! The whole day was just absolutely perfect and beautiful! Food was excellent and we got so many compliments on it (Chef Robert even flew out from Vegas to cater it!). The day of the wedding, the morning was raining, but the forecast said it would clear up and 5 hours before the wedding we made the call to keep the original plan. Jae watched it like a hawk and when we were quoted a crazy amount to tent the roof from an outside vendor, the OMNIA agreed to let us change our plans and bring the reception inside. Everyday the weather kept changing – rain, no rain, rain, etc. But their true moment to shine came the week of the wedding when rain was in the forecast and our ceremony and reception was set to take place on the rooftop. But we walked away being like, wow, not only was that truly a great experience but, damn that food was great too! As we got closer to the wedding, the OMNIA continued to be great to work with – from menu changes to working with us on personalized items. It was truly an experience – Chef Robert walked through each dish with us and we talked about everything. Just WOW! We were treated like VIP’s – we had a completely private tasting, including a carver for the beef and turkey, that could have served 20 people. More on Jae later as he deserves a very special shout out! First, We needed to do our food tasting and we would be out in Vegas one weekend, so they were able to get us in at the OMNIA with their head Chef Robert out there. Both of them were fantastic to work with. I worked with Kristina at the beginning and then Jae for the rest of the planning. From the start they were incredibly easy to work with and very flexible. They were a dream venue – I could not have asked for anything more from them. Who would have thought a night club would make an amazing wedding venue?! There are no words I can use to properly convey just how happy we were with the OMNIA and the whole experience working with them. An upscale dress code is enforced, and this venue is completely cashless. My husband and I had the privilege of being the FIRST wedding at the OMNIA in San Diego. VIP tables and bottle service are available on three levels, with booths lined on the outskirts of the dance floor, on a mezzanine overlooking the DJ booth, and a terrace with its own sleek bar - there’s even a gourmet food menu for those who choose to sit. A strictly 21+ club, Nova SD is open only on Friday and Saturday nights. Headliner DJs have already made their appearances at this booming club, with upcoming events including performances from Kaskade, Excision, Two Friends, and more. An electric music-lover’s oasis, Nova SD boasts a state-of-the-art custom-built sound system and a massive LED screen, making for an immersive, dynamic dance floor fit for unforgettable nights. So far, this neon-lit club has met, and possibly exceeded expectations. Owned by Insomniac - the same group behind the vibrant, ever-popular Electric Daisy Carnival - this nightclub has replaced the once-loved Omnia nightclub. One of San Diego’s newer nightlife attractions in the Gaslamp Quarter, the opening of this club in February 2022 has been highly anticipated.
